What is a Bioblitz? A BioBlitz is a 2-day biological inventory to find as many plant and animals as we can! The goals of the Bioblitz are to identify flora & fauna and provide a nature program of expert-led nature walks, kayaking, and presentations.
Who can participate? Everyone! Professionals, educators, students, backyard biologists, and citizen scientists can attend to learn more about our magnificent ecological paradise!
Where and when will it be? The WGP Bioblitz will be held on March 15th and 16th, 2014 at the WGP Education Center, located at 10001 Old Rock Road, Yankeetown, FL 34498.
Nature programs start as early as 7:00 am and run through dusk each day. Some species inventories may start early and/or go late. A regularly updated schedule of activities is available here.
